North Shore Bar & Bat Mitzvah Content Creator
Serving Highland Park, Deerfield, Northbrook, Glencoe, Wilmette, and the whole North Shore. We capture the simcha the way your family will want to remember it: candid, joyful, and delivered before the thank-you notes go out.
We Know This Simcha From the Inside
Gott You Media is a Jewish-owned husband-and-wife team. We don't need a briefing on what the candle lighting means, when the montage should play, or why the hora photo with all four grandparents is non-negotiable. We've lived these celebrations, not just filmed them.
That matters on the day. We know the kiddush luncheon has a different energy than the party. We know the moment the Torah service ends and the relief hits your kid's face. We know the grand entrance is coming before the DJ announces it, and we're already in position.
You get a team that anticipates the moments instead of reacting to them.
Every Moment That Matters
- The grand entrance and the hora — the chair goes up, and we're on the right side of it.
- The candle lighting — every name called, every hug, every grandparent's face.
- The montage moment — if we made your montage too, we film the room watching it. See our mitzvah montages.
- Guest interviews — the friends, the cousins, the bubbe with opinions. On camera, unscripted, gold.
- Everything in between — the dance floor, the games, the candids nobody posed for.
Your complete raw gallery lands within 12 hours, plus edited reels built for Instagram and TikTok.

North Shore Mitzvah FAQ
Do you work alongside our photographer and videographer?
Yes, seamlessly. Content creation is a different job: we capture candid, real-time moments and deliver fast, while your photographer handles portraits and your videographer builds the film. We coordinate with your vendor team before the event and stay out of their shots.
How fast do we get everything?
Your complete raw gallery lands within 12 hours of the party. Edited reels follow shortly after, and The Moment package includes a same-day Instagram story takeover posted during the event.
Do you cover the service as well as the party?
We follow your synagogue's photography and videography policies. Many congregations restrict filming during Shabbat services, and we know how to plan around that: Havdalah parties, Sunday celebrations, or coverage that begins when the restrictions end. We'll sort the logistics with you in the planning call.
Can you make the montage too?
Yes, and it's better when we do both. We build custom bar and bat mitzvah montages, and when we're also covering the party, we film the room reacting to it. See our montage page for details and ideas.
Which North Shore towns do you serve?
All of them: Highland Park, Deerfield, Northbrook, Glencoe, Wilmette, Winnetka, Glenview, Skokie, Buffalo Grove, and the surrounding communities. We're based in Arlington Heights, minutes from the whole corridor.
How far in advance should we book?
North Shore mitzvah dates book far ahead. Most families lock in vendors 10 to 14 months out, and prime spring and fall Saturdays at the top venues can go 18 months or more. Once your date and venue are set, reach out. We hold dates on a first-committed basis.
Do you work at kosher venues and Shabbat-observant celebrations?
Yes. Several North Shore mainstays, including the Westin North Shore and the DoubleTree in Skokie, have cRc-certified kitchens, and we're comfortable in kosher and observant settings. We plan coverage around your family's level of observance, whether that means a Saturday night start after Havdalah or a Sunday celebration.
