Do you have experience at our venue?
We have covered weddings and mitzvahs at most major Chicagoland venues. If we have not been to yours yet, we do a site walk ahead of time to scout lighting, angles, and logistics.
Which venues are the most content-friendly?
Venues with great natural light, flexible floorplans, and outdoor ceremony options tend to produce the strongest content. Downtown lofts, North Shore country clubs, and garden estates all deliver beautifully on camera.
What if our venue has strict photo or video policies?
We coordinate with your venue and your photo or video team in advance. Content creation is inherently low-footprint, so most venues are happy to accommodate us even with stricter rules.
Do you travel between ceremony and reception venues?
Yes. Travel between ceremony and reception venues within 60 miles is included in every wedding and mitzvah package.
What about getting-ready locations?
Hotel suites, Airbnbs, and family homes all work. We build the getting-ready coverage into the first hour or two of your package.
Do you cover mitzvahs at the same venues you cover weddings at?
Often, yes. Many North Shore country clubs and hotel ballrooms host both. The main difference is pacing and energy. Mitzvahs are party-first, so we focus on the dance floor, hora, candle lighting, and games.
What if our venue is not on this list?
This is a starter list, not the full one. We work with new venues all the time. Tell us where your event is and we will let you know what to expect there.
Do any of these venues require permits or have outside-vendor restrictions?
A few do. Park venues like Cantigny, Morton Arboretum, and Ravinia have their own rules around vendor access, permits, and load-in times. We have worked at most of them and handle the paperwork on our end so you do not have to think about it.
How do you handle low-light venues like ballrooms with chandelier-only lighting?
Most ballrooms run dim once dinner starts. We shoot on cameras built for low light and keep our setup unobtrusive, so the room stays moody while the footage stays sharp. No giant on-camera lights, no flash blasting your guests during dinner.
Do you coordinate with our planner, photographer, and DJ ahead of time?
Always. We reach out to your team a week or two before the event to align on timeline, family formal locations, and key moments. The day runs smoother when every vendor knows what the others are doing.
